Honda CBR 125R

The Honda CBR 125R is a 125cc four-stroke engine sport bike made by Honda. It is an awesome little bike that is perfect for learners under the age required to take the full test. It's a very forgiving bike and can really take a beating from inexperienced riders. It is powered by a liquid-cooled four-stroke, two-valve SOHC, single cylinder 124.7 cc engine with a claimed power rating of 10 kW or 13 horse power.

History

The Honda CBR 125R was first introduced in 2004 to fill a gap in the market after it discontinued the Honda NSR125.

The models produced from 2004 to 2006 resemble the CBR600F4i and use a carburettor in the fuel system.
The Repsol colour scheme was introduced in 2005 and remained for the following year only.

In 2007, Honda made some significant changes to the Honda CBR125R including adding fuel injection.
The 2007 model received a newly designed front fairing to resemble the look of the CBR600RR instead. They also changed the colour scheme of the swing arm and front forks, which are now black.
The engine changes made to this model included PGM-F1 electronic fuel injection, Idle Air Control Valve; which operates with the FI system, and the HECS3 oxygen sensor to comply with EURO-3 regulation. Overall these were good improvements for the CBR 125R and made it just that much cooler.

In 2011, the Honda CBR 125R received a major revamp (Pictured above). It was given a more modern image simular to the Honda CBR 250R which in turn made it look and feel like a larger bike. This took the CBR to a whole new level and strongly competes with other 4-Strokes such as the Yamaha YZF-R125 and the 2Stroke Aprilia RS125.

So yeah, the Honda CBR125 really is a top bike for a 4-stroke 125cc. I personally have had 85mph out of it and its really enjoyable and nippy around the city. It has a comfortable seat and I have enjoyed large 4-5 hour rides on it with no problems. With other great 125s like the Aprilia and various Yamaha's, this bike really does compete well and for just over £1000 second hand you can not go wrong.

Facebook Bikers

Hey bikers!

Just want to share something with you guys today.

There is a group on Facebook that I think all bikers should be a part of. Not every biker is a part of it and its a great way to share stories and experiences.
Its also just a great way to make friends and meet up for rides.

There is plenty of banter and fun in the group but beware of the trolls because no matter where you go there always will be trolls.

Overall its a cracking group full of bikers that enjoy a laugh with other biker girls and guys.

So why not join as it would be great to see some more members in there even though there already is 20,000+

(FYI: I didn't create, neither do I admin FBB)

A Bikers World

What is "A Bikers World"? You ask?

Well let me explain..

My name is Jordan and I am a biker.

What's a biker?

I have always been into motorcycles before I can even remember, but just under a year ago I purchased my first 125cc. A Honda CBR 125 made in the year 2006 with Repsol colours. Its an awesome little bike, capable of just over 80mph (Down hill!!). I've enjoyed every second whilst riding this bike and I am 100% certain that I will go on to own multiple bikes in the future. Being on two wheels is an amazing feeling and if you have never tried it I highly recommend it.
Some say its dangerous and you can be killed easily, and yeah they may be right in a way, but if you don't take risks how can you ever have fun?

To me, being a biker means appreciating all the different types of motorcycles and the people that ride them. Its not about who has the best or where it was made, its about the ride. Most people are quick to judge these days and being a biker brings you away from that. Being a biker is being part of a huge family that will go out of its way to make sure you're okay. Being a biker means stopping at the side of the road to help a stranded motorcyclist regardless of the ride. Being a biker is being able to meet other bikers and talk for hours about pointless stuff and just enjoying yourself. No matter who you are, where you come from, YOU can become a biker and you will immediately be welcomed into the family. So there you go. That is what being a biker is to me and I'm sure most bikers would agree.

Why am I blogging?

I'm blogging because I have a passion for Motorcycles that I want to share with others that ride and others that don't. Sometimes I feel that bikers are given a bad image in various media texts which obviously isn't fair. I believe that by blogging about some of the positive movements that bikers take part in and the good they do, I might persuade at least one person that we really are a good group of people and the negativity only comes from a few "Motorcyclist". I also feel that am creative and I need to find something that I can do to feed my creativity and I feel that this is one of the best ways.

What will you be blogging about?

I plan to blog about motorcycles and bikers. This will include biker news, events, new and old motorcycles and things like huge race events such as the MotoGP and The Isle of Man TT. I will also express my opinions on various topics related to bikers and the things they do.

Who can we get involved?

I strongly encourage comments from people that read my blog posts so please leave any feedback you may have. Tell me what you think of the particular subject and leave your opinions on bikers, motorcycles and any current affairs.
If you would like to contact me then please do at my Gmail account: jordangregorywallis@gmail.com
You can give me any topics you would like me to talk about or if you'd just like to chat about bikes!

So if you are interested in what I've said above then this is the blog for you. I hope you enjoy some of the other posts to come and stay tuned for more.
